At last year’s #MiningIndaba, we talked about persistent challenges. This year, we’re showcasing a tangible fix. We partnered with a leading mining operation to tackle a notorious deep-level mining problem: dangerous and costly scrap steel blockages in ore passes.
Our solution? In collaboration with Jiangsu Dalongkai Technology, we engineered and deployed a custom-built, 400-ton compression force metal baler designed for underground constraints. It compresses scrap into safe, manageable bales right at the source.
